Tent for Carlisle 

Does anyone know if the NJ and PA Group have a tent lined up for Carlisle?  We do not want to be there without a nice size tent.  I really think we need to get this lined up soon.

Thanks for thinking about this important event. Carlisle offers the use of a 20’ X 20’ tent to those clubs who register 25 vehicles or more. I don't think we could get that many with both clubs combined. Both PAMG and the NJMG would have around 10 people going each day. I'm pretty sure you can rent a tent from Carlisle fairgrounds and they'll set it up for you. Not sure of the cost but I'm sure if we split up the rental cost with everyone going from the PAMG & NJMG it wouldn't be a lot of money for each member. Right now I'm so backed up with work that if I drop the soap in the shower I'm behind schedule. So if someone would like to volunteer to coordinate this task it would be greatly appreciated. We need to call Carlisle and ask how much it costs for the tent and what the deadline is to purchase the rental. We also need to the get a hold of Tony (Event Manager NJMG) to ask if they have a tent already for the event or if they would like to split the tent rental cost up with us. Then we need to determine the cost per member attending, rent the tent, and collect the funds at the event. Sorry for the bluntness, just outlining the tasks.

I got an email back and told me to go the forms and flyers section on the web site and they would have all the info we need. I must be blind because I can't find that section at all. if I don't this weeend I give them  a call monday.

I know for the Dakota R/T event we have over 34 signed up and Carlisle told us to submit a form by a certain date if we wanted our tent.They also ask that you provide a banner for the tent at the event.

We were way to late to rent a tent from Carlisle fair grounds, so who has a tent they can bring to Carlisle?

I'm pretty sure Paul is going to bring two and I have the club tent and my own, that's four so far. We need a few more to make two decent setups. Usually the Chargers and Magnums are close to each other so we could have one setup there. The Challengers are going to be in another section of the fair grounds so I would like to have some tents there also. We only have one banner so it will be displayed on the tents near the Chargers, there will be more club cars in that area considering PAMG and NJMG combined.
